December is always a wonderful time of year, but it can also be a stressful one! Let Piscataway Library offer a break every now and then from the hustle and bustle of the season! We have some adult program offerings that can provide some much needed relief from the pressure you may be feeling.
Enjoy an afternoon of music by Nina Et Cetera at Kennedy Library this Sunday, 12/4 at 2:00! Sit, relax, and listen!
Later that week, treat yourself to a humorous but very practical and informative workshop on de-cluttering your kitchen. Jamie Novak is an extremely popular, engaging organizing expert who delivers great, easy tips in a lighthearted manner. She'll be presenting at Westergard Library on Thursday, December 8 at 7pm.
If you want something more active, try out our Belly Dancing Workshop. The December 14 workshop is scheduled at Kennedy Library at 7:30. Note: There will be a workshop at Westergard Library on January 12. Or, come to our monthly Country Line Dancing class on Thursday, December 29 at 7:30. All levels are welcome.
If you need a boost this season, our ever-popular Contagious Optimism Group will be meeting on Monday, December 12 at 7:00. This is a great way to put everything in perspective and stay positive.
And, as always, come in for some great reads, enjoyable movies, and be sure to check out our museum passes if you have some vacation time! Our Friends of the Library just purchased an additional pass for Grounds For Sculpture! What a wonderful outing that is!
From all of us at Piscataway Library, warmest of wishes!
