NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a 12-foot-tall elf!
City residents were surprised Friday to look up and see Santa's not-so-little helper perched atop a roof at 37 Easton Ave.
The Elf’s second annual appearance in New Brunswick was arranged by Saxum, a national boutique real estate investment and development based in Summit.
The retail level of the building is leased to a diverse group of restaurant tenants, including Pasta Volo and Halal Guys.
A third restaurant, Ani Ramen, will open for operations in early 2021.
Saxum said it is also upgrading landscaping and is near completion on a coworking facility, operated by DESK, which will be open in early 2021 for retail tenants.
“We wanted to provide a bit of holiday magic to the city as a thank you. In a year full of surprises, we hope this surprise is one that will raise people’s spirits.” Anthony Rinaldi, Founder and Managing Principal.
Saxum asks that if you spot the elf, take a picture and share it with the hashtag #TheSaxumElf.
