NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — City cops are investigating a shooting early this morning that sent a New Brunswick man to the hospital, according to a press release.
Police responded to Throop Avenue and Delavan Street around 12:50 a.m. today, June 8, after receiving a report of the shooting, New Brunswick Police Capt. J.T. Miller wrote in the release.
When they got there, cops found a 23-year-old city resident who “sustained a gunshot wound to his buttocks,” according to police. He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
The victim “was unable” to offer a description of the suspect or how the incident unfolded, police said.
