SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The South Plainfield Police are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspected burglar who robbed a Fairmount Avenue home and made off with a gun. According to police, the suspected entered the Fairmount Ave home on June 2, 2017 through a rear door. A number of items were stolen including a Smith & Wesson .22cal Handgun.

A nearby resident captured a photo of a suspect on a doorbell camera at about 9:30 a.m.

The suspect is POSSIBLY accompanied by a white female (no further information) and the pair could be operating a black/dark colored jeep.
