MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ - Please join Middlesex Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, in partnership with the Middlesex County Association of Chiefs of Police and the NAACP for a discussion of the recently issued and revised Attorney General’s Directive regarding the Use of Force. The online event will be held on Thursday, April 8 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
On December 21, 2020, Attorney General Gurbir Grewal issued Law Enforcement Directive No. 2020-13 – Revising the Use of Force Policies and Procedures in the State of New Jersey. This groundbreaking directive was the first revision to the Use of Force Policy in the State of New Jersey in nearly 20 years. Consequently, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office is hosting a virtual town hall meeting in order to summarize and discuss the main features of that directive. A panel of subject-matter experts has been assembled in order to discuss the directive and answer your questions regarding the newly issued Use of Force Policy.
