The New Jersey Rising Stars Girls AAU Basketball Club is looking for high-school aged girls for the upcoming season which begins the end of January. 

Originally created as the "Jersey Shore Chazers" in 1972, the "Stars" are now in their 45th consecutive year of AAU Basketball existence and have become a well-respected name, not only in New Jersey, but also throughout the country.

Over the years, the "Stars" have played in 14 National Championships and in 25 different states and Canada, while playing against girls from 48 different states and 5 countries including Russia, Brazil and Yugoslavia.

Over 1,200 different players have worn the "Stars" uniform since 1972, with 75 percent of them going on to play college ball and many of them earning scholarships to such top-level schools as Duke, Miami, Rutgers, North Carolina State, Georgetown, Providence and many more.
