Old Trenton Barracks: Tavern Night

The Old Barracks Tavern Night is a celebration of 18th Century Colonial American History.

Enjoy savory hors-d'oeuvres and an open beer and wine bar while immersing yourself in an 18th century tavern.

Share drinks, play card games and gamble with wooden nickels, and learn dance steps to the most popular songs with ladies and gentlemen from the period as well as modern guests. 

Dance Master Sue Dupre will provide dance instruction for those who wish to dance but do not yet know the steps while John Burkhalter of The Practitioners of Musick performs on period instruments music heard in 18th century America ​accompanied by Russell Hoffman.

Period dress is neither required nor discouraged!
