PISCATAWAY, NJ - Middlesex County health officials are reporting two new positive COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total to 824 Piscataway residents who have tested positive for COVID-19.  No additional information regarding the new cases was provided.

The reported death toll remains at 32 for the township.

There are now 16,066 positive cases in Middlesex County and 1,004 deaths, according to covid19.nj.gov.

In the Garden State, 652 more positive COVID-19 cases were confirmed increasing the total to 162,068 with 112 additional deaths bringing the total to 11,880.

Residents are reminded to remain vigilant in following the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control, the State of New Jersey, and public health officials when it comes to social distancing, hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes, and disinfecting common areas. These are the best ways to reduce the rapid spread of the virus.
