PISCATAWAY, NJ — While the skies started out grey and the threat of storms loomed in the air, the weather managed to hold off for the annual 4th of July fireworks display and family fun event at Piscataway High School Wednesday evening.

Thousands of friends and neighbors crowded into the parking loop and the football stadium where they were treated to food trucks, kids’ activities and carnival rides, and a DJ who played the latest hits as revelers danced on the field.

Then, at 9:30 p.m. the fireworks began, as patriotic music played in the background helping to commemorate Independence Day in America.

Happy Birthday America!
