PISCATAWAY, NJ – Applications are now available for a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by the Piscataway Domestic Violence Crisis Intervention Team (PDVCIT).
High school seniors who have “against all odds” been able to overcome extraordinary obstacles, remain in school, maintain passing grades, and have been accepted into an institution of higher education are encouraged to apply.
All public, private, parochial or vocational high school seniors are eligible to apply but must be a Piscataway resident.

The Piscataway Domestic Violence Crisis Intervention Team (PDVCIT) is a volunteer organization that assists victims of domestic violence. The PDVCIT are comprised of paraprofessional volunteers, trained and certified in domestic violence counseling, under the guidance of the Piscataway Township Police Department. Their purpose is to provide a range of aid, comfort, education, assistance, and referrals to victims of domestic violence and to increase public awareness, through education of individuals, groups, and the community.
