PISCATAWAY, NJ – Piscataway Township will host a National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 2nd. Scheduled National Night Out events will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. in the center point of the township, “The Clock” at Westergard Library, 20 Murray Avenue and Stelton Road.

This year Piscataway celebrates its 350th anniversary and marks the 34th Annual National Night Out event in the township.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

This is a fun event for the entire family that includes information about crime prevention; displays of Police/Fire/EMS vehicles and classic cars; clowns, activities for children, rock wall climbing; food vendors and music by DJ Marvilous; and much more.
