PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Piscataway Public Library will be participating in New Jersey Makers Day, a statewide event that celebrates and promotes making, creating, and tinkering, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) learning.

Both library branches will feature exhibits and demonstrations in all areas of STEM, along with many other events, hands-on activities and projects. Community members of all ages are invited to participate in an exciting day filled with activities focusing on maker culture.

The NJ Makers Day celebration will begin on Friday, March 18 at Westergard Library from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Making and STEM activities will include:

  • Cardboard Challenge for tweens and teens
  • Hands on building with our "Budding Builders" kits

And the maker excitement will continue on Saturday, March 19 at Kennedy Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities will include:
