PISCATAWAY, NJ – Are you a teen looking for volunteer hours?  There are teen volunteer opportunities available at both branches of the Piscataway Public Library.

Kennedy Library -The 2016-17 School Year Volunteer Program at Kennedy Library is for Piscataway residents 11 to 17 years old.  Volunteers work up to one hour per week for 6 weeks in the Children's Department at Kennedy Library putting away a variety of children's items. 

Applications can be picked up at the Kennedy Library Children's Information Desk beginning Wednesday, Sept. 7 through Tuesday, Nov. 15.  Applicants will be called in the order the applications are received.  Space is limited. Westergard Library - If you are a Piscataway resident in grades 6-12 interested in volunteering at Westergard Library for Fall 2016, click here to fill out the form! Teens Teach at Piscataway Public Library - Piscataway Library is interested in hosting you and your skill as a tutorial on their website and you will earn volunteer hours. If you are good at magic, gardening, playing an instrument, knitting, sewing, etc. and would like to create an online tutorial, click here to fill out the form!

Are you looking for community service opportunities? Piscataway teens in grades 6 – 12 can join the Teen Advisory Board and make a real difference at your library and in your community!

There will be a Teen Advisory Board meeting in the Teen Space at Kennedy Library on Monday, Sept. 12 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
