PISCATAWAY, NJ – Piscataway Township’s “Shred it and Forget it” mobile community shredding program will begin at 9 a.m. this Sat., April 7 at Quibbletown Park.
All residents are invited to dispose of personal documents at any of the free paper shredding events to be held at locations throughout the township.
Acceptable documents for shredding are limited to confidential and sensitive materials only.
Non‐confidential materials, such as books, magazines, newspapers, etc., should be recycled through the township’s local municipal recycling program and will not be accepted at the shredding events.
All shredding events will take place rain or shine from 9 a.m. to noon or until the truck is full on the following dates and times:
Quibbletown Park, 141 Academy Street
- Saturday, April 7: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Saturday, June 23: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Saturday, September 15: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Riverside Park, 430 River Road
- Saturday, April 21: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Saturday, October 6: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Piscataway Municipal Building (Town Hall Parking lot) - Ted Light Way, 455 Hoes Lane
- Saturday, May 5: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
