GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Joshua U. Holmes, 23 of Piscataway was arrested on Thursday in connection with an armed robbery at an Atlantic County motel room, said officials.
On Dec. 12th, police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Highlander Motor Inn in Galloway Township, according to The Press of Atlantic City. Authorities said they found the victim, who had been held at gunpoint and robbed of $250, bound with duct tape in one of the motel’s rooms.
The suspected robber was seen fleeing eastbound on the White Horse Pike, police said.
Piscataway police assisted with the identification and arrest of Holmes who has been charged with robbery, criminal restraint, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, officials added.
Holmes is being held in the Atlantic County jail on $250,000 full cash bail.
