PISCATAWAY, NJ — Middlesex County health officials reported 3 new positive COVID-19 cases in Piscataway over the last 24-hour period, bringing the total to 801 residents who have tested positive. No additional information regarding the new cases was provided.

The reported death toll remains at 30 for the township.

Statewide, there are 151,472 cases, an increase of 974 overnight, with 10,843 deaths reported, an increase of 161 since Wednesday, according to the State Department of Health.

There are now 15,057 positive cases in Middlesex County and 921 deaths, according to covid19.nj.gov.

Middlesex County health official are set to expand asymptomatic testing and will open a new drive-thru testing site at 1 Ericsson Drive in Piscataway on May 28. 

Residents who wish to be tested can schedule an appointment up to three days in advance by visiting middlesexcountynj.gov/covid19testing or calling 732-745-3100.
