PISCATAWAY, NJ - We are taking our discussion on the road!

Do you enjoy reading and discussing books and also enjoy walking? Piscataway Public Library is giving you the opportunity to combine these hobbies and walk and talk! Our new ROVING READERS group will meet in the lobby at Kennedy Library at 10am on Tuesday mornings, starting September 6 and meet every Tuesday morning through November 29.

We will take a break for the winter months and start up again in March. We will meet for an hour or so. We can walk down the bike path and through neighborhoods, or if anyone in the group suggests another route, that's fine too! It's your walk! In case of inclement weather, if the main meeting room is available, the librarian leading the group will guide you through a light cardio routine or we can watch a walking tape, and then sit and chat about books! This weekly program

Let the Games Begin

The problem is that in my deluded head, I can see actually see myself standing atop the podium.  I am wrapped in a puffy designer ski coat with a huge piece of bling slung around my neck ...

The Best Way to Pay Your Child a Compliment

“Of course you’re good-looking.”  “You’re the best friend ever.”  “Who wouldn’t want you on their team?”  Is there a parent out there (including me) who hasn’t praised a child in order to make him or her feel better?  Sometimes it’s true, and sometimes we say it because we just can’t stand to see them ...
