PISCATAWAY, NJ - We are taking our discussion on the road!
Do you enjoy reading and discussing books and also enjoy walking? Piscataway Public Library is giving you the opportunity to combine these hobbies and walk and talk! Our new ROVING READERS group will meet in the lobby at Kennedy Library at 10am on Tuesday mornings, starting September 6 and meet every Tuesday morning through November 29.
We will take a break for the winter months and start up again in March. We will meet for an hour or so. We can walk down the bike path and through neighborhoods, or if anyone in the group suggests another route, that's fine too! It's your walk! In case of inclement weather, if the main meeting room is available, the librarian leading the group will guide you through a light cardio routine or we can watch a walking tape, and then sit and chat about books! This weekly program
This is a "read and talk about whatever you want" group! We'll be our own great resource for possible reads and do something good for our health while we are at it!
Everyone available Tuesday mornings are welcome, Moms--feel free to wear or stroll a baby or young child.
To register, call 732-463-1633x6, come to the Kennedy Information Desk, or email Mary Piekarski at email@example.com.
The Library is excited to start this new book discussion group and we hope you share the excitement with us!
"Walking inspires and promotes conversation that is grounded in the body, and so it gives the soul a place where it can thrive." Thomas Moore
