SOUTH BRUNWICK, NJ - An invetigation into the death of a township woman on Friday evening is being conducted by the South Brunswick Police Department in conjunction with the Middlesex County Medical Examiners Office. Preliminary results in the investigation into the death of Menga Ramos are currently considered non-suspicious by the SBPD and the Middlesex County Medical Examiners office.
Ramos was found unresponsive by officers on August 9 after receiving a 911 call about an unconscious woman on Bayberry Court. A family member made the call. Officers began life saving efforts as soon as arriving on the scene according to information released by the South Brunswick Police Department. Ramos was pronounced dead by paramedics at 12:07 a.m.
The Middlesex County Medical Examiners Office also responded to the scene on Friday. An autopsy was conducted by the office on Saturday. Ramos' death was classified as non-suspicious, however, a final cause of death is pending. The ME's Office is awaiting Ramos' toxicology results before making a final determination. Ramos was 42 years old.
