The car, a 2011 Honda Accord, was in neutral, and started to roll backward, hitting the woman.

According to Ryan, the car rolled over the woman’s leg, but did not trap her underneath the vehicle.

A group of people at the scene went to aid the woman until police and first aid arrived, Ryan said.

South Brunswick EMS took the woman to the University of Princeton Medical Center at Plainsboro for treatment, he said.
