BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- The Somerset Patriots will host Star Wars Night on Tuesday, August 29, at TD Bank Ballpark presented by Altice Media Solutions. The first pitch against the Lancaster Barnstormers is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
 
As part of the Star Wars 40th Anniversary Celebration, the Somerset Patriots will welcome members of the 501st Legion of Star Wars Costume Organization dressed as some fan-favorite film characters, including Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Jedis and more special guests. The Patriots will welcome a life-sized R2-D2 for fans to take pictures with on the main concourse. 
 
In addition, Patriots players will be wearing very special Jedi-themed jerseys in honor of the upcoming film, Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. The jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the game to benefit the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA).
 
 
Fans wearing Star Wars costumes or apparel will receive a $2 ticket discount for that night’s game and enjoy Star Wars music, video clips and more. Tickets to the 2017 Somerset Patriots season presented by Ford are on sale at the ballpark.
