NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ -Two babies were found dead at a recycling facility on Industrial Drive Wednesday morning, police say.

New Brunswick Police responded to 12 Industrial Drive at 9:20 a.m. and recovered a deceased newborn, according to a press release from Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Director Anthony Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department.

The investigation at the facility led to the recovery of another newborn about six hours later.

According to records, 12 Industrial Avenue is the site of the Colgate Paper Stock Recyclable Processing Facility.

Autopsies are pending by the Middlesex Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
