PISCATAWAY, NJ - Build It Better Design Challenge will be a one-day startup competition that exposes high school students to the basic skills of entrepreneurship. The event will take place on Saturday, June 10 at 9:30 am at Piscataway's Westergard Library, 20 Murrary Ave.
Participating students will be divided into teams, and local experts will guide the teams through essential stages, including planning, designing, building, and marketing. Final products will be evaluated by a panel of judges, and the members of the winning team will each receive a $100 scholarship.
Build It Better Design Challenge is open to Piscataway resident high school students entering grades 9-12 in September 2017. Registration is limited to 25 participants.
