Looking for your next book? We can help you in various ways! You can come in and ask us to help you find something you will (hopefully) love, or you can look at our website from home. Under each age group tab on our website, you'll find booklists for that age group and under the Teens and Adults tab you will also find a link to a book review blog written by our librarians called Books2Share.
Additionally, there is a "What to Read Next" form. Simply tell us the last 3 books you read (that you enjoyed) and we'll figure out what you should read next. Can't remember the titles? No problem, just tell us the authors!
And did you know that Piscataway Public Library hosts 2 in-house book discussion groups and another one, Let's Talk About Books, that meets at various local venues. Each meet monthly but LTAB is also available on Facebook 24/7/365: www.facebook.com/groups/ltabnj.
You can add to the discussion anytime, sharing books and suggestions, clever book related ideas, and funny literary posts . The group FICTION ADDICTION meets the last Tuesday of the month at 7pm at Kennedy Library.
The Nov. 24 title under discussion will be The Wednesday Sisters, by Meg Waite Clayton.
The other in-house group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. at Kennedy Library. The Nov. 18 title under discussion will be The Art of Hearing Hearbeats.
Call the library at 732-463-1633x6 to register and to place a hold on the title if necessary.
The off-site group is run a bit differently - - there are no rules for this group. Read what you want, or just come to hear about what others have been reading! The next meeting of LTAB is at 365 Bistro (101 New World Way, South Plainfield) on Nov. 18 at 6:30 p.m.
So, check us out-online or in person. I bet we'll be able to put a good book in your hand!
