Meet Dr. Jacqueline Littlejohn
Jacqueline Littlejohn is a Democratic candidate running to bring better governance and transparency to the Piscataway Town Council in 2018.
Jacqueline is a hardworking resident who is proud of her community and cares deeply about our city. Jacqueline is running for Town Council for three important reasons:
- to support and advocate for quality of life issues for Ward 1
- invest in the community’s future, and
- stand for the values of residents in Ward 1
She lives with her husband, Christopher in the Ward 1 section of Piscataway. Both of her children attended elementary, middle, and high school in the district. Today her daughter serves many Piscataway residents in her capacity as a nurse while her son proudly serves the country as a member of the US Navy. Jacqueline works as an educator and mentor through a Middlesex County organization.
Jacqueline was born in New Jersey and moved to Piscataway where she and her family have resided for 22 years. She earned her doctorate degree in educational leadership from Kean University in 2014. With many years of study, hard work, and community service, Jacqueline believes it is time for new energy in city government.
The June 2018 Town Council race is ultimately about the future of our neighborhood and values that bind us together in Ward 1, in the township that we love and care deeply about. Jacqueline Littlejohn embodies the pragmatic, bold, and vibrant leadership that is needed in Ward 1. She is a member of a movement of concerned local residents, Central Jersey Progressive Democrats, whose agenda is focused on social, political and economic change within the Democrat party.
