Piscataway Strong!  This is the motto I live by as a proud Piscataway resident.  It is a confirmation that Mayor Wahler, Cahill/Shah/Scott-McCullum have brought diverse people together as one community and bolstered our Township to withstand hardships and achieve results. My husband and I have made our home here in Piscataway for more than 20 years.

Why Piscataway?  I knew a bit about Piscataway from my years attending Rutgers University; however, when we looked for a home, we learned of the diversity, inclusivity and affordability Piscataway could offer us.  We have never looked back…… P’Way Ya Know!

We are leading Piscataway through the Covid-19 pandemic, putting safety first while keeping all services running, making roadway upgrades and focusing our town on caring for one another.  Column A Democrats will continue to get our Township families and local businesses the resources they need throughout this health crisis.

Mayor Wahler, Council President Cahill, Councilman Kapil Shah and Councilwoman Chanelle Scott-McCullum and the council brought new companies into the Township, providing needed jobs and revenue that counter the terrible downturn in the national economy and funded the construction of our $32 million community center using no residents’ tax money.

Most importantly, it is true leadership by the Mayor and Council to make sure that the success of Piscataway is achieved with all groups and neighborhoods benefitting.  Regardless of your background or financial means, there is an equal place in this Township for you – and you will have respect, opportunities, and most importantly, a voice at the table NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE!

We support Piscataway’s many local volunteers, the foundation from which we emerged as one of the best towns in which to live.  If you are from P’Way, then ya’know, but Money Magazine also said so!

We are a strong and unified, diverse community but our country continues to be divided by this failed presidency and four years-long nightmare.  As Americans, we know the work ahead of us on civil rights, the environment and health care is significant.  To safeguard the well-being of everyone who lives in our Township is to stand together, Piscataway Strong, and be an example to our country that harmony and prosperity may be realized.

I am proud to serve as your Township Council President, and with your support, Mayor Wahler and my running mates, Kapil Shah and Chanelle Scott-McCullum look forward to four more years of working and advocating on your behalf.  We will protect our community, rebuild our country, and remain Piscataway Strong.
