On Sunday, October 28, the St. Francis Cabrini Knights of Columbus Council #11017 sponsored a benefit brunch in support of the Piscataway Chiefs Special Olympic athletes.  The brunch included an array of breakfast specialties, cereals, pancakes, French toast, bacon and sausage, as well as a made-to-order omelet station.  The Knights manned each station with a smile as they helped ensure everyone was satisfied.

Many of the athletes, their parents, and friends were in attendance.  Father Considen and Mayor Wahler stopped by to show their support for the brunch and many of St. Francis Cabrini parishioners also supported the brunch by stopping by after Mass for a delicious, filling breakfast at an extremely reasonable cost.

The Knights provided us with a morning of fun and friendship.  Proceeds from this event will go to support Piscataway Chiefs Special Olympics programs in bowling and track and field. Thank you, Knights of Columbus Council #11017, for so generously sharing your time and friendship with the Piscataway Chiefs Special Olympics athletes.  A special thank you to Barbara Fox, a Special Olympics parent, who coordinated this event with the Knights.
