Children's Events

  • ABC Adventures Live on Monday, January 11 at 4pm - Explore the alphabet with us! This week we're exploring the letter E through stories, songs, hands-on activities. From Elephants to Eagles to Elbows and Eyes...get ready for all things E! Registration for this event is full.
  • Tuesday Tales Live on Tuesday, January 12 at 10:30am - Join us on Facebook Live for an interactive story time and enjoy songs, stories, and a fun craft with Ms. Peggy! For ages 2-5. Registration for activity kits is full.
  • Tot Time Live on Thursday, January 14 at 10:30am - Join us this week for winter-themed songs, a story, and a Model Magic polar bear craft! Registration for this event is full.
  • Children's Books! Kahoot Family Trivia on Thursday, January 14 at 5pm - Do you remember what character wanted to drive the bus? Do you know who blew down the pig’s house?  We will be using the Kahoot online game system, and you will need two devices on the night of the game. Register here to receive the link to participate. 
  • Grab & Go Craft on Friday, January 15 at 4:15pm - Join us from home while we assemble a craft on Facebook LiveRegistration for activity kits is full.
  • Family Story Time on Saturday, January 16 at 10:30am - Join us on Facebook Live for stories and songs that children and caregivers can enjoy together.

for students in grades 6-12

  • Talk It Out on Monday, January 11 at 3pm - Join Teen Services Librarians Kate-Lynn and Erica to chat about how things are going. Register here to receive the link to participate.
  • Teen Crafternoon: Velvet Posters on Thursday, January 14 at 3pm - 
    Teens in Grades 6-12 are invited to join us for this mindfulness coloring activity. Your velvet poster will have an abstract art design for you to color! Registration for this event is full.

  • Social Security Explained on Wednesday, January 13 at 7pm - Join expert financial advisor Mark Lange of the Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA) in a workshop to learn key facts about Social Security. Register here to receive the link to participate.
