STAND Central New Jersey invites the community to an expert panel discussion, “Election Reform & Voting Rights”.  Join STAND CNJ and New Jersey leaders as we learn how we can remove obstacles that lead to voter suppression, address partisan redistricting, and ensure access to the voting for disenfranchised communities.

Our esteemed panelists include Amol Sinha, ACLU-NJ executive director;  Adriana Abizadeh, LALDEF executive director; Jesse Burns, NJ League of Women Voters executive director; David Goodman, Represent.Us/Central NJ, and Julia Sass Rubin, Good Government Coalition New Jersey.

Nanny Found Guilty of Abusing 9-Month-Old Infant

 SOMERVILLE, NJ – Laura Gonzalez, of Paramus has been found guilty of 2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault, a disorderly person’s offense. 

The guilty verdicts were returned by a petit jury after a trial in New Jersey Superior Court before the Honorable Angela Borkowski, J.S.C.  The defendant is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept.
