Highland Park Restaurant Week

RESTAURANT WEEK IN HIGHLAND PARK
Celebrating Highland Park’s Diverse Cuisines
Monday July 29 – Sunday August 4

Highland Park’s 2019 Restaurant Week, from Monday July 29 – Sunday August 4, offers diners a great chance to experience the huge range of diverse cuisines downtown Highland Park has to offer.

Just under two square miles in size, Highland Park is small but its downtown packs an outsized punch in restaurant diversity and quality. With a huge range of cuisines in its walkable downtown, just a short walk over the Raritan River from Rutgers University and the city of New Brunswick, the borough of Highland Park is ready for its culinary closeup.

“Our Restaurant Week offers specials in such a wide range of cuisines; it really offers something for every taste and budget,” said Rebecca Hersh, executive director of Main Street Highland Park. “We hope that these deals and discounts will bring out both regular diners as well as new customers. It’s incredible what a diversity of foods are available in such a small area, from Asian to Kosher to Mediterranean to American bistro to Italian to desserts to Venezuelan and everything in between.”

Restaurant Week runs from July 29 to August 4, with 17 eateries currently participating:

All the restaurant deals can be found on the Main Street Highland Park Restaurant Week page: www.mainstreethp.org/restaurantweek.

Frequent Diners Eligible for a Highland Park Raffle Prize

Diners who eat three (3) Restaurant Week deals during Restaurant Week can enter to win a Highland Park Raffle Prize, including items from downtown businesses. Details and an entry form are at www.mainstreethp.org/restaurantweek.

Follow the Main Street Highland Park Facebook page, www.facebook.com/mainstreethp, and website, www.mainstreethp.org, for updates about Restaurant Week and everything happening in downtown Highland Park throughout the year.

Where Do We Start the Larger Conversation About Guns?

Let's talk about our rights and our freedoms.

A Portrait of the Artist as a Not So Young Man

I am an artist. It says so on my T-shirt.

My colorful shirt, which significantly inflates my position in life, confers great status. For one, it announces that I am a musical performer at the Montclair Jazz Festival. This distinguishes me from the thousands of other festival goers who only get to enjoy a great day of music, not make it.

More importantly, wearing my artist T-shirt ...
