Reading Buddies

Kids in Grades K-3 & Teens in Grades 7-12

Help your child practice reading skills one-on-one with our teen volunteers. This program is designed to help children in kindergarten through third grade increase their vocabulary, practice social skills, and build reading confidence. Teens and children are paired together for reading aloud. Paired reading buddies will be supervised by library staff in the children’s room at the Kennedy Library.

Reading Buddies sessions will take place on Wednesday nights from 6-7 PM starting on January 15 through February 26.
