PISCATAWAY, NJ — Piscataway’s traditional Independence Day fireworks show has been postponed until Labor Day weekend because of the pandemic.

In a post on the township’s Facebook page, officials said:

“Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Township fireworks show slated for July 4th is postponed. The Township is looking to instead have a fireworks show over Labor Day weekend. As we get close to that time, the Township will assess conditions in our state.”
