PISCATAWAY, NJ – An island breeze swept through the auditorium of Theodore Schor Middle School on Thursday as the school’s drama club presented their opening night performance of Once on this Island, a story about the power of love, sacrifice, and the hierarchy of society.
The cast and crew of this junior edition production featured over 60 sixth through eighth grade cast members.
“This is an extremely talented and motivated group of students,” said Ms. Kalber, the middle school’s music teacher and play director.
“Their level of commitment and enthusiasm for performing has made my first year here at Theodore Schor incredibly special,” she added.
There will be another performance on Friday, Feb. 2nd at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door. Students must be accompanied by someone who is eighteen or older.
