PISCATAWAY, NJ - Piscataway residents are invited to attend "Still Embracing the Dream - Honoring the Dreamer," the township’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Breakfast on Saturday, January 18th at 8:30 a.m.

Sponsored by the township’s Civil Rights Advisory Commission, this year’s guest speaker will be Rev. Dr. Ronald L. Slaughter of St. James AME Church in Newark. 

Slaughter, “a well-known orator and community activist is a pastor and New Jersey State Parole Board member and also serves on the board of directors of numerous schools and hospitals,” said township officials.

“As usual, there will be lively participation from Piscataway clergy, civil and community leaders and youth,” they continue.

The breakfast will be held at the Piscataway Senior Center, 700 Buena Vista Ave. There is no charge to attend and is open to everyone.
