PISCATAWAY, NJ – Mayor Brian Wahler and Ward 2 Councilman Jim Bullard welcomed AmeriCare Physical Therapy to Piscataway, cutting the ribbon at their grand opening celebration on Friday.
Located at 1260 Centennial Ave. at South Washington Ave., AmeriCare Physical Therapy provides physical therapy services to address the pain and swelling that follows many medical conditions including sports injuries, joint replacements, sprains and fractures and various types of surgical repairs.
The practice also offers wellness services to help patients with range of motion issues, worker’s comp injuries and various occupational issues such as neurological conditions and hand therapy.
“We want to make sure that everyone’s creaky bones and joints are all working correctly here in Piscataway and make sure everybody’s nice and healthy,” said Wahler as staff members stretched out the ceremonial red ribbon in the new location’s reception area.
Founded in 2006 by Dr. Susan Rele, AmeriCare Physical Therapy also has locations in Mountainside, Garwood, and Warren, employing a team of therapists that she said pride themselves with providing the highest quality of care.
“We feel we can really help the community with great physical therapy care,” said Rele, who is certified in the McKenzie method of diagnosing and treating back and neck problems.
