PISCATAWAY, NJ - The only Powerball jackpot winning ticket for $190 million from the Wednesday, April 8, drawing was sold at the Piscataway Buy-rite Liquor, 1353 Stelton Road, announced lottery officials on Thursday.
The retailer will receive a $30,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
The winning numbers for the April 8 drawing were: 02, 37, 39, 48 and 54. The Red Power Ball number was 05. The Multiplier number was 03.
“Congratulations to the winner of this multi-million-dollar jackpot! We encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket, make a copy of both sides and put it in a safe place,” said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey.
“We recommend contacting a financial advisor and an attorney before reaching out to Lottery officials at 1-800-222-0996 to arrange to file a claim for this jackpot prize,” Carey added.
In addition, there was one New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. That ticket was purchased at Barnegat Quick Stop, 21 South Main St., Barnegat in Ocean County.
The Powerball jackpot resets to $20,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, April 11 at 10:59 p.m.
