PISCATAWAY, NJ — School officials announced that throughout the summer, the district will continue offering breakfast and lunch to Piscataway students. 

In his June 12 update to Piscataway families, Superintendent Dr. Frank Ranelli provided the following information about the free meals available during the summer.

“I am pleased to announce that throughout the summer, we will continue offering breakfast and lunch to Piscataway students. Effective Monday, June 15, 2020 through August 27, 2020, our meal distribution schedule will change to two days per week. Students will receive several days of non-perishable meals every Monday and Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.  The “Grab and Go” breakfast and lunch packages will be available for pickup at the following locations:

  • Administration Building – 1515 Stelton Road
  • Arbor Intermediate School- 1717 Lester Place
  • Eisenhower Elementary School – 360 Stelton Road
  • Martin Luther King Intermediate School – 5205 Ludlow Street
  • T. Schor Middle School – 243 North Randolphville Road

“Meals can be picked up at any one of the five locations offered by the District.  Please bring your child’s ID card to the pickup location to collect your meals. 

“For your convenience and to guide families, please look for the District’s yellow buses that will be parked at each of the five sites. Meals will be distributed in a drive-through fashion. District employees will be present and ready to assist you. As we continue to keep the health and safety of our students and staff as our most important priority, please adhere to the instructions of District employees and practice social distancing. For a handy reminder of this information, please print this flyer. We will send the flyer under separate cover to you on Monday.
