Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members:

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the warm welcome I’ve received as the new Superintendent of Piscataway Schools. I am excited to lead the team I’ve worked alongside for the past five years as Assistant Superintendent. Together, we will build on the solid educational and cultural foundation that is the legacy of former Superintendent Teresa Rafferty. I can’t thank her enough for her mentoring and friendship.

The Central Office team now includes Mr. William Baskerville, who after 10 successful years as principal at Grandview School, has been named Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. I look forward to working with Bill as we continue to plan and implement educational offerings at all schools that will prepare our students for their best and brightest futures.

As we move throughout the year, I will share our goals and plans, and I welcome your input. These are your schools and I am grateful and humbled that the Piscataway Board of Education entrusted me to lead them.

I look forward to an inspiring 2019-2020 school year – working together to nurture creative, resourceful, thoughtful, and compassionate students.

Sincerely,

Ranelli Signature

Dr. Frank Ranelli
