“Nobody in town does Oktoberfest like we do," said KC's owner Walter Kurilew, whose parents, prior to immigrating to the United States, owned and ran a pub in Germany. "They used to hold Oktoberfest in their house and I have remained committed to carrying on that tradition."

In preparing to welcome back indoor guests, Kurilew, over the summer, installed a state-of-the art air purification system equipped with advanced bipolar ionization technology designed to reduce allergens, pathogens, viruses and bacteria. The system produces a natural bio-climate rich in positive and negative ions without harmful chemicals, ozone or ultra-violet light and the bipolar technology releases charged atoms which attach to harmful substances and deactivates them.
"The system is running, and we are following all the rules," said Kurilew, noting that for those who do not feel comfortable returning indoors just yet, the outdoor patio will remain open until further notice, weather permitting.
"We want our patrons to feel comfortable and, if that means sitting outside, we want them to have that option, to," he said. "Everything in place is in the best interest of the health and safety of our patrons.
