PISCATAWAY, NJ — Outdoor dining in Piscataway is set to begin on Monday, June 15.  According to township officials, Cedar Grove Café located at 160 Stelton Road is the first Piscataway restaurant to be approved for outdoor seating for up to 120 days under a New Jersey Dept. of Health directive and an executive order signed by Mayor Brian C. Wahler.

Officials said to have outdoor seating, restaurants will need to have a zoning permit application approved by the township. However, no site plan application, performance bond, maintenance bond or engineering inspection fees will be required, and township officials will work to expedite the process.
