PISCATAWAY, NJ -- Girl Scouts Troop 81105 will be collecting non-perishable pet food for needy families with dogs and cats at the Township’s free rabies clinic on Saturday, Jan. 25th.

The pet food drive is part of the troop’s Bronze Award Project, and all items collected will be donated to FISH, Inc. Donations will help the Scouts make a difference for pet owners in the community who are in need of assistance. 

Dog and cat owners can come to the Public Works Department’s garage at 505 Sidney Road between 9 a.m.- Noon for the rabies clinic. All animals must be leashed or in carriers.

The Township Clerk’s office in Town Hall, 455 Hoes Lane, will also be open from 9 a.m.-Noon to issue dog and cat licenses. No snow date has been scheduled.
