PISCATAWAY, NJ - A Go Fund Me page has been established to raise money for the Piscataway family whose West 4th Street home was destroyed by fire early Tuesday morning

“We are asking for anyone who can help and donate for this beautiful family who lost everything to the fire,” said Federica Diez who set up the page.

Donations for the family can also be dropped off at the IHOP on Route 22 in North Plainfield where the mother, Angel works.

“Angel is very grateful for whatever we as a community can do to help her family,” said Kesha Pickett-Johnson in a Facebook post. “She will need whatever we can give.”

Pickett-Johnson posted clothing sizes for Angel’s family:

Twin boys size 12 months

2-year old boy, size 18-24 months

1 year old girl size 18-24 months

Angel - women's size 14 pants large shirt

Her husband - extra large shirt and pants size 36 waist.

Mario Reyes, the family’s neighbor across the street caught a baby and a toddler who were dropped down from a second story window by Angel to escape the flames that ultimately destroyed the house.

The family suffered minor injuries but were treated and released from an area hospital.
