Teen’s Family Devastated by Hit and Run; Fund Launched for Medical Expenses

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Tiffany Pham, a South Plainfield teen remains in serious condition from injuries she suffered in a hit and run crash.  Family and friends have set up a Go Fund Me page to help tackle mounting medical expenses.

Piscataway police said they are still looking for the driver who struck Tiffany when she was crossing the street at New Brunswick Ave. and Cedarwood Drive around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 21.

Tiffany is in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where she is sedated. She has a crushed pelvis and serious head trauma. Her family is by her side and will play music and read to her, reports ABC news.

Tiffany’s family is asking for donations to help cover the cost of her medical bills and said they are devastated by this senseless crime.

“No amount is too small,” friends said on her Go Fund Me page. “Please donate what you can to help Tiffany's family get through this difficult time.”

The hit and run remains under investigation.
