PISCATAWAY, NJ - Every year Piscataway residents gather in their favorite locations throughout the township to watch the annual fireworks display with family and friends.
This year, Greenacres Park will not be open for the fireworks. The park is now closed and will be so through Friday night, July 5th.
“Residents are advised to watch the fireworks show at the Piscataway High School (PHS) football stadium,” said township officials.
“However, the walking path on Sidney Road remains open up until the Greenacres parking lot which is closed,” they added.
Piscataway Township’s Independence Day celebration with fireworks will be on Thursday evening, July 4th at Piscataway High School’s football field, 100 Behmer Road. The fun starts at 6 p.m. with kiddie rides, food vendors and music. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. The rain date is Friday, July 5th.
