PISCATAWAY, NJ -- As the winter season gets underway and many Piscataway residents enjoy holiday festivities, township officials want to remind everyone of its leaf pickup and recycling center schedule.

In a post on the DPW website, officials said, “residents are reminded to please not sweep your leaves into the street and keep the storm sewer grates along your property free and clear of debris. Please do not dump grass or other debris into catch basins to avert pollution in our streams and rivers.

“Also, curbside leaf bag pickup ends on December 31st, so please make sure that any leaves you have are soon bagged.
