PISCATAWAY, NJ - Middlesex County health officials reported 27 new positive COVID-19 cases on Saturday, bringing the total to 469 residents who have tested positive in Piscataway. No additional information regarding the new cases was provided.

There are now 7,624 positive cases in Middlesex County and 313 deaths, according to covid19.nj.gov.

81,420 New Jersey residents have tested positive for COVID-19, and the death toll is at 4,070,according to the State Department of Health.

81,116 negative test results have been reported statewide.

The increasing cases are expected as the total number of positive cases throughout New Jersey has increased, said health officials. They urge residents to continue practicing social distancing and limit gatherings in the effort to flatten the curve.
