PISCATAWAY, NJ – Middlesex County health officials reported 5 new positive COVID-19 cases in Piscataway over the last 24-hour period, bringing the total to 759 residents who have tested positive in Piscataway. No additional information regarding the new cases was provided.

Sadly, one death was reported, increasing the death toll to 25 for the township.

According to covid19.nj.gov, there are now 13,759 positive cases in Middlesex County and 759 deaths.

Statewide, there are 137,085 cases, an increase of 1,631 overnight, with 9,116 deaths reported, an increase of 164 since Friday, according to the State Department of Health.

Residents are reminded to remain vigilant in following the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control, the State of New Jersey, and public health officials when it comes to social distancing, hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes, and disinfecting common areas.
