PISCATAWAY, NJ – Middlesex County health official reported 15 new positive COVID-19 cases in Piscataway over the last 24-hour period, bringing the total to 337 of residents who have tested positive. No additional information regarding the new cases was provided.

According to covid19.nj.gov, the latest numbers on this Easter Sunday show that in Middlesex County, there are now a total of 5,693 positive cases, and 193 deaths. 

61,850 New Jersey residents have tested positive for COVID-19, and the death toll is at 2,350.

There have been 64,885 negative test results in New Jersey, reported health officials.

The increasing cases are expected as the total number of positive cases throughout the state has increased, said health officials. They urge residents to continue practicing social distancing and limit gatherings in the effort to flatten the curve.
