PISCATAWAY, NJ - Middlesex County health officials did not report any new positive COVID-19 cases in Piscataway over the last 24-hour period. The total remains at 812 residents who have tested positive and the death toll remains at 32.

The New Jersey Department of Health reported 158,844 positive cases Friday, an increase of 1,659 with 11,531 deaths, an increase of 130 overnight.

There are 15,734 positive cases in Middlesex County and 972 deaths, according to covid19.nj.gov.

Middlesex County health officials opened a new drive-thru COVID-19 asymptomatic testing site in Piscataway at 1 Ericsson Drive on Thursday. Testing is free and by appointment only through June 2.

Residents who wish to be tested can schedule an appointment up to three days in advance by visiting middlesexcountynj.gov/covid19testing or calling 732-745-3100.
