PISCATAWAY, NJ — Middlesex County health officials did not report any new positive COVID-19 cases in Piscataway over the last 24-hour period. This is the second day in a row that the COVID-19 numbers have not changed. The total remains at 843 residents who have tested positive and the death toll remains at 34 for the township.
There are 16,618 positive cases in Middlesex County and 1,101 deaths, according to covid19.nj.gov.
In New Jersey, there were 359 new positive cases bringing the state's total to 169,415 with 27 new deaths bringing the statewide total to 12,895, according to Monday's update from the State Department of Health.
Residents are reminded to remain vigilant in following the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control, the State of New Jersey, and public health officials when it comes to social distancing, hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes, and disinfecting common areas.
