PISCATAWAY, NJ - Piscataway officials announced Friday that the Piscataway Senior Center will be closed until further notice. The closure of the Senior Center is a precautionary measure to help protect community seniors who are more vulnerable to COVID-19.
A post on the township’s Facebook page states:
“Out of an abundance of caution, the Piscataway Senior Center will close at 3 p.m. today and will remain closed until further notice.
“Please note the following:
• Meals on Wheels delivery will continue as normally scheduled.
• Congregant meals may be delivered as well. If you normally have such meals, please call the Senior Center’s nutrition hotline at (732) 743-9844 to make arrangements.
• Transportation will be offered for grocery shopping and medical appointments. Please call (732) 562-1133 to make arrangements.
• Senior Center staff will be available via phone at (732) 562-1133 to provide needed information.”
